Dr. Jayendra (Jay) Patel
Dr. Patel was born in Anand, India. He earned his DDS degree from NYU in 2001. He has a passion for dentistry and carries that into his continuing education and in everything he does in our practice. He is always attending new classes and learning the latest techniques to be able to give his patients the most advanced dental services possible. He is also a current member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Patel and his wife have 3 children. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys playing golf, reading and spending time with his family.

Michele – Receptionist
Michele has been with the practice since 1993 and with Dr. Patel since 2004! She graduated in 1981 after taking a medical transcript course. She loves that Jim Thorpe Dental Associates is a close, family-oriented practice, and she is friendly and outgoing! Michele and her husband have two daughters and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes swimming and going to the beach.
Sherri – Insurance Receptionist
Sherri has ample experience working in the dental field, and she’s been with Jim Thorpe Dental Associates since 2011! She enjoys our family-oriented atmosphere and team players and will do anything to make our patients’ visits a pleasant one. Her hobbies include biking, reading and spending time at the pool.
Brittany – Registered Dental Hygienist
Brittany began working with us in 2016, attended Northampton Community College and received an associate degree in Dental Hygiene. She has passion and enthusiasm for what she does as well as a sympathetic personality, and she treats our patients like they’re family. Outside of the office, she enjoys art, playing the piano and outdoor activities.
Angela – Registered Dental Hygienist
Since 2014, we’ve had Angela as a part of our skilled and dedicated dental team. She graduated from Luzerne County Community College in 2011.
Tracy – Dental Assistant
Tracy graduated from NCCC in 1999 and joined our office in 2014. She is skilled at relaxing patients with one-on-one interactions and she enjoys her job. Tracy is married and has a teenage son. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, working out and watching scary movies.
